Landsec collects 65% of rents in latest quarter

Landsec has collected 65% of rents for the first quarter of 2021, up from the amounts collected in the two previous pandemic-hit quarters.

The office sector remained the top performer, with the group’s predominantly London office portfolio seeing a rent collection rate of 87%. Retail was again the weakest performer, with 36% of regional retail rents collected, while 29% was collected in Central London.
