Landsec insists recovery is on its way despite £1.4bn loss and plunging asset values

Landsec has insisted it is “poised for recovery” despite posting record losses and a slump in net asset value in its annual results.

The property giant posted a pre-tax loss of £1.4bn for the year to the end of March, compared to a loss of £837m in the previous financial year, while EPRA net tangible assets per share was down 17.4% to 985p.
