Cheshire housing association Halton Housing has confirmed plans to build 1,000 new homes across the county after securing a £60m funding package from Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking.

Halton Housing will build a range of houses, apartments and bungalows across Halton, Widnes and Runcorn over the next five years, which will be available to buy and rent. The new homes will add to the housing association’s portfolio of more than 7,000 homes built up since 2005.
