Houses of Parliament

Parliament has signed a deal to house up to 1,000 staff in the former home of Westminster City Council in Victoria while the £4bn restoration of the Palace of Westminster takes place.

Parliament is understood to have taken an initial 10-year lease at around £64/sq ft at the former Westminster City Hall on 64 Victoria Street. It will occupy around 100,000 sq ft over the upper 10 floors of the building, which recently underwent a £77m upgrade.
