Partners Group, the global private markets investment manager, has reached its target of raising €2bn (£1.8bn) for its third private real estate secondaries program.

The capital, which was raised across Europe, Latin America and Asia, will be used to buy property portfolios and single real estate assets, with a focus on mature assets in need of capital to improve value. In particular, Partners Group will seek opportunities to provide tailored asset and portfolio liquidity solutions to operators, developers and third party investors in order to support asset-level business plans, or to structure fund refinancing deal due to an upcoming fund or debt maturity.
