Persimmon pay scandal boss takes top job at Yorkshire housebuilder

The disgraced former Persimmon boss, who quit after an outcry over his £100m pay deal, has been appointed chief executive of another housebuilder.

Jeff Fairburn has also bought a 50 per cent stake in Yorkshire-based Berkeley Deveer, which builds homes with starting prices from around £200,000, The Times reported.
