Profit at up-market housebuilder Berkeley Group has slumped more than 20%, and the group is warning a further fall for the current year.
Pre-tax profit for the year to the end of April fell to £775.2m, a 20.7% fall on the previous year’s £977m. The group added it expected pre-tax profit to fall by around a third by the end of this financial year.
