Profit rockets at Avant Homes

Avant Homes has posted a 40% leap in operating profit in its annual results and reiterated a strategy to more than double its housebuilding to 4,000 homes a year.

The group produced an operating profit of £63.2m from a 21% rise in revenue to £446.9m for the year to 27 April.
