Profit set to hit target despite revenue coming in below forecasts at Watkin Jones

Watkin Jones has revealed annual revenue will come in “slightly below expectations” for the year to the end of September, but that profit will be in line with expectations.

In a trading update ahead of the 12-month figures, the residential for rent group told investors revenue is expected to come in at £430m, which despite being lower than expected will produce a stronger gross margin, reflecting the timing of land sales on either side of the year-end.
