Housebuilding giant Redrow has posted a record annual underlying profit following the end of Covid lockdown restrictions and the release of pent-up demand from home buyers.
Pre-tax underlying profit leapt 31% to $10m during the 53 weeks to 3 July, off the back of a 10% rise in revenue to £2.14bn - which was also ahead of the 2019 pre-pandemic level of £2.1bn.
