Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou has slammed a takeover bid for the easyHotel business, in which he owns 27%.
The £138.7m bid comes from ICAMAP, easyHotel’s largest shareholder with a 37% stake, and property fund Ivanhoe Cambridge. It offered 95p a share, representing a 34.8% premium to last week’s close of 70.5p.
