Supermarket Income REIT hits acquisition trail after £430m Sainsbury’s sale

Supermarket Income REIT is targeting up to £250m of acquisitions following the £430.9m sale of its Sainsbury’s portfolio back to the supermarket giant, Property Week can reveal.

Net proceeds of the Sainsbury’s sale will total around £230m and the group’s investment adviser said it had a healthy pipeline of acquisitions likely to be completed in the rest of this year.
