The PRS REIT is preparing for a new year fundraising of up to £250m in a bid to grow the value of its portfolio to more than £1bn, less than three years after it listed on the London Stock Exchange.
In an interview with Property Week, Graham Barnet, chief executive of The PRS REIT’s investment manager, Sigma Capital, revealed that the group was considering the fundraising to boost its construction pipeline and to expand its geographical reach from 20 regional sites to 50 across the UK in the coming years.
Barnet also revealed The PRS REIT was targeting a portfolio of 20,000 homes over the next five years.
