Torchlight takes majority control of KCR Residential REIT

The Torchlight Fund has become the majority shareholder in KCR Residential REIT after triggering its option to add 13,500,000 shares to its holding.

Following the shares deal, which cost £2.7m, Torchlight’s interest in KCR increases to 23,100,000 Shares, representing 55.4% of the company’s enlarged issued share capital, and 35,900,000 options.
