Unite reports valuation gains for 2018

Student accommodation giant Unite Group has revealed valuation gains across its properties during 2018.

In an update to the market the group said the Unite UK Student Accommodation Fund (USAF) portfolio was independently valued at £2.3bn, representing a like-for-like increase of 1.1% during the quarter to 31 December, and 5.0% over the full year. The portfolio comprises 23,483 beds in 63 properties across 21 University towns and cities in the UK.
