Urban & Civic turns to a loss as NAV falls

Urban & Civic has posted a 5.5% fall in net asset value and turned in a loss for the year to the end of September.

The group, which has recommended a £506m takeover approach from Wellcome Trust to shareholders, said NAV during the year had dropped to £499.1m from £527.5m in 2019, while pre-tax losses came in at £8.1m, compared to a profit of £16.3m last year.
