Urban Exposure's chief on how £165m IPO can plug resi lending gap

Lender says stock market flotation will help it ‘grab a slice’ of growing residential development funding market.

Chief executive Randeesh Sandhu told Property Week that there was a funding gap of more than £200bn over the next decade, which stood in the way of developers achieving the government’s 300,000-homes-a-year target.

“The banks are not filling that gap, so we have an opportunity to grab a slice of that market,” said Sandhu.
