ZPG sells Australian division of Hometrack 18 months after acquisition

The company behind online property portal Zoopla has sold the Australian division of Hometrack for £71m, less than 18 months after acquiring the whole of the property valuation firm for £120m.

ZPG, best known as the owner of Zoopla and financial comparison sites uSwitch and money.co.uk, said the transaction is subject to approval from the Australian competition and consumer commission.
