My hope is for visibility or at least ‘more visibility’, particularly in the UK given the stage we’re at with the Brexit negotiations. But the world goes on despite the intermittent noise.
I expect interest rates to rise, but not to the extent of a worst-case scenario due in no small part to the fact that sovereign balance sheets are even more indebted than at pre-crisis levels. So the minor issue of having to service the national debt will balance the desire of central banks to rewind quantitative easing too quickly.
Resolution: To get down to 90kg – the same resolution as last year and the year before that.
