Property management’s finest gathered at the Grosvenor House hotel last week to recognise the sector’s star performers at the Property Week Management All-Stars awards.

Property Week’s deputy editor Guy Montague-Jones kicked off the evening with a speech celebrating the trailblazers in the industry. Comedian and TV presenter Matt Richardson hosted the awards and entertained the crowd with tales of his own experience as a renter.

Winners included Cooper Parry as Employer of the Year, FirstPort as Residential Property Manager of the Year and JLL as Commercial Property Manager/Operator of the Year. Young Property Manager of the Year went to Kelsey Oates from Avison Young and Innovator/Systems Provider of the Year was awarded to Locale.

The awards ceremony finished on a high with Joyce Ahwieh from retirement living specialist Gateway Housing winning the Unsung Hero Award. Commenting on the night, she said: “I feel it’s not a job anymore; it’s like a hobby… I’ve done something to make a difference in somebody’s life.”

The event was sponsored by Harris Associates, Abbatt Dual Management, Claibon Recruitment, Data Energy, Gigabyte, JB Leitch, Project Chartered Surveyors and Property Debt Collection.
