The fifth annual Mipim Tennis Classic raised more than £50,000 for four charities.
Celebrating its fifth year, the annual tennis tournament was held in support of four charities – LandAid, Bright Ideas for Tennis, the Tim Henman Foundation and the Cannes Community Fund – and raised well in excess of £50,000, eclipsing the previous record of £35,000 set last year. The total was boosted by the generous donation of a canary yellow diamond ring worth £20,000 for a silent auction.
Coached by Henman and egged on by TV presenter and compere Dan Lobb, 28 players from across the property industry competed in a hard-fought doubles tournament as the glorious mid-morning sun shone over the Cannes Tennis Club.
