Fifty Grosvenor employees and representatives of shopping centre Liverpool One are to cycle from the company’s London office in Mayfair to the Merseyside shopping centre to raise money for charity

The ride, which is being led by Chris Taite, fund manager for the Grosvenor Liverpool Fund, will commence on 27 May and finish on 29 May, the second anniversary scheme’s launch.

Riders will cycle 85 miles on the first day, followed up by a gruelling 111 miles the day after. The ride will then conclude with a 45 mile sprint on the final day, totalling a daunting 241 mile journey.

Riders will raise money for the Liverpool One Foundation, which is administered by the Community Foundation of Merseyside and supports local initiatives, organisations and charities. It is hoped at least £15,000 will be raised.
