Simon Farrant will take over as managing director of Phoenix Beard, Birmingham’s longest-established independent property consultancy when Roger Poynton retires this month.

Farrant joined Phoenix Beard in 1987 and has headed the professional department for 17 years. He became an equity director 12 years ago. Roger Poynton retires after 30 years at the firm.
