Government and industry looking at measures to improve fire safety.

As Jeffrey Tribich, associate at Malcolm Hollis, puts it: “The increased focus on health and safety for high-rise buildings since Grenfell has shone a light on the fact that there have been significant changes in the construction industry over recent decades, many of which have had a negative impact on health and safety, in particular fire safety.”

That is undoubtedly true, but to what extent has the fire prompted both government and industry to tighten up procedures to ensure that such a horrific incident never happens again?
