Bumper Q1 reflects strong Birmingham office demand

Space in centre is scarce after spate of deals.

Two deals caught the eye in Q1. The Commonwealth Games Organising Committee took 72,000 sq ft at One Brindleyplace from Deutsche Bank, and Irwin Mitchell acquired 47,000 sq ft at the Colmore Building, which is now 100% occupied for the first time since 2008.
