Hunt is on for partner to develop land in Birmingham's Ladywood

Deprived Birmingham area set for revival.

At Mipim, Birmingham City Council launched a search for a partner to develop 150 acres of land in Ladywood, which borders the city centre to the west. Redevelopment of the area has been mooted since 2010, when it was included in Birmingham’s Big City Plan, a 20-year city centre masterplan outlining various development opportunities.

So why is the council bringing forward the project now, and what might plans for the area consist of?
