However, the company – which has offices in Newton-le-Willows, midway between Manchester and Liverpool, and in Doncaster – has no plans to expand much beyond its heartlands in the north.

The family-run commercial property investor, developer and manager has 2.5m sq ft of development in the pipeline, is working with new investors and has, according to its group managing director Richard Ainscough, a healthy balance sheet.
