The rise of offsite construction is fuelling demand for modular factories - how big could the opportunity be for the industrial and logistics sector?

As far back as April 2017, Heathrow set out its intention to use its £16bn expansion to drive growth in offsite construction across the UK by inviting bids to host a number of logistics hubs as part of its supply chain management plans. From an initial 121 applications, 65 made it on to a long list, which is set to be whittled down to a final four by the middle of next year.
