Plans are afoot to boost development after years of inactivity.
After years of inactivity, there’s a feeling that things might finally be happening in Poole. And it isn’t only the council that has been encouraged to take action. Legal & General Investment Management Real Assets (LGIM RA) is upgrading its Dolphin Shopping Centre and plans to create a nine-screen cinema; developers are starting to bring forward previously dormant brownfield housing sites; and a new, longer dock at South Quay opened for business in January this year, with the first big cruise ships due to arrive soon.
