A spike in interest in veganism is seeing ‘plant-based eating’ take a greater portion of the restaurant market.
More and more Brits are discovering a taste for plant-based foods. Research released to mark World Vegan Day on 1 November last year claimed that more than half of UK adults are now adopting vegan buying behaviour. The restaurant sector has begun to sit up and take notice and new plant-based concepts are popping up across the UK.
So who’s doing what and where? And is mainstream veganism here to stay or is it just a passing fad?
