Members of the property industry are squeezing themselves into Lycra suits next week to take on a 275-mile charity cycle ride in memory of former tp bennett partner Richard Beastall, who died last year after a long battle with cancer.

In collaboration with Club Peleton, from 17-19 September the likes of AXA’s James Goldsmith and Greycoat’s Dan Higginson are cycling from Beastall’s home town of Matlock to tp bennett’s London office and then on to Cooden Beach on the south coast where Beastall (pictured) and his husband Martyn designed and built their dream home.

A BBQ will be held at The Cooden Beach Hotel at the end of the ride to raise a glass in Beastall’s honour.

The cycle ride, which is raising money for specialist melanoma charity Story, has already raised more than £40,000 so far.
