The generosity of a pair of the event’s founding partners has assured extra interest in the pre-tournament silent auction.

James Lugg, founder of Folio UK, has donated an afternoon’s use of his luxury yacht Carte Blanche for a winning bidder to cruise around Cannes. Not to be outdone, Inspired Homes chief executive Martin Skinner has made his beloved customised McLaren available for a half-day’s driving in either France or London.

With all proceeds from both the auction and the on-court action going to property industry charity LandAid, Metropolis hopes to see generous donors serving up big bids.
