Now, there is a chance for younger professionals to put these new-found skills to good use thanks to Barratt Developments’ Samuel Stafford who is organising an e-gaming FIFA Cup tournament.

“It was an idea I had to try to connect people,” he says.

The virtual competition kicks off next month. A £250 charitable donation will be made on behalf of the winner, who will receive a £50 Classic Football Shirts voucher courtesy of Barton Willmore, which is sponsoring the event. The losing finalist will have a £150 donation to charity made in their name and the two losing semi-finalists £50.

Entrants must have FIFA 21 on the PS4 and a PlayStation Plus account.
