Christmas is a time for celebration but also for giving, and Landsec hit all the right notes on both counts with their annual charity carol concert at Westminster Cathedral last week.

Bringing the festive spirit to their big 2017 launch site at Nova Victoria, the property investment giant assembled a star-studded line-up including Cerys Matthews, Frank Skinner, Adrian Chiles and Emily Maitlis to sing alongside the Westminster Cathedral Choir, Victoria Children’s Choir and English Cornett & Sackbut Ensemble.

As well as providing guests the chance to get into the spirit of the season, the concert raised £20,000 for the local homelessness charity, the Cardinal Hume Centre.

Claire Armstrong, senior marketing manager for Landsec, said: “It was such a pleasure to host our third Landsec Carol Concert at the wonderful Westminster Cathedral, in the heart of Victoria. This part of London is obviously one we know very well, and as well as our development work here, we’re also passionate about being part of the community. Many thanks go to all of those involved. See you next year!”

‘Tis the season for generosity and Metropolis is delighted to see the property sector once again stepping up.
