Urban Splash head honcho Tom Bloxham has made regular appearances in Property Eye. Only last year, we reported on how he had been mistaken for former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn on social media.

But it wasn’t Bloxham’s apparent socialist leanings that caught our eye just before Christmas. Rather it was his hitherto unknown prowess on the football pitch. During Sky’s Soccer Saturday programme on 18 December, one eagle-eyed reader spotted that Bloxham appeared to be moonlighting for Shrewsbury Town. And not only that, he was sent off in the 40th minute of the game against Cheltenham Town for foul play when he apparently headbutted an opponent.

Having investigated further, Property Eye established that the Urban Splash supremo isn’t turning out each week for a first-division club. It’s his 18-year-old striker namesake, who by all accounts is one to watch. The same could also still be said of Bloxham Snr!
