More than 150 property figures convened at a CBRE Global London event on the eve of London’s mayoral election to discuss the impact of City Hall leadership on commercial property.
They discussed their views on the EU referendum vote and the Gatwick airport expansion.
Zac Goldsmith for the Tories pledged to build 50,000 homes annually by 2020 and Sadiq Khan for Labour said he would prevent “excessive conversion” of commercial space through PDR.
This week, Londoners will head to the polls to vote. Candidates include Khan (pictured) and Tory skyscraper fanatic Shaun Bailey.
