The 3,751 sq ft bar had capacity for more than 150 people and offered 20 draft beers on tap.

Speaking at the time, Iain Mitchell, commercial director at Hammerson, said: “We have seen solid demand over the past year for exciting F&B brands looking for space in our flagship city centre locations.”

In 2021, BrewDog revealed plans to construct a new 26,500 sq ft flagship location at Waterloo. It said the central London site would be its “biggest location” in the world.
