Ocubis secured a resolution to grant planning permission for a 600-bed hotel in London, after it abandoned plans for a residential led, mixed-use scheme on the site.

The decision from Lambeth Council came after Property Week revealed the year before that Ocubis had scrapped its original scheme in light of softening residential values in the area and strong interest from hotel operators.

The hotel at London’s Albert Embankment (pictured) will consist of two interconnecting 25-storey towers.
