The redevelopment of a £120m campus for a college in Norfolk moved a step closer this week.

Master planner AukettFitzroyRobinson has completed its masterplan for the 20 acre site in Norwich, comprising over 700,000 sq ft of college buildings.

A planning application has been put in to Norwich Council for the City College Norwich building this week.

A spokesperson said: ‘The masterplan will accommodate the predicted growth in students from the wider Norfolk region over the coming years.’

The phased redevelopment will feature a series of college buildings linked by a pedestrian ‘spine’ or walkway. Construction is due to start on site in 2009.
