Over 4,800 property professionals have so far entered their salary details in to the RICS and Macdonald & Company salary and benefits survey 2008.
Respondents have until 2 February to complete the survey online at www.macdonaldandcompany.com.
The confidential survey, which is quick to complete, is the largest survey undertaken within the property sector and now in its ninth year. It continues to be the best way for employees to find out how their pay packets compare with their peers, and for employers to find out whether they are offering too much, or too little.
Charles Holroyde, director at Macdonald & Company said that information about salaries across the property industry has never been so important.
‘Those who have concerns about the current market status have an even greater reason to complete the survey,’ he said. ‘Whilst some firms have become increasingly reserved in recruitment, a considerable number are taking the opportunity to expand their teams. Confidence remains high in certain market sectors,’ he added.
‘We continually receive calls from individuals and employers alike requesting accurate salary and benefits information for themselves or their employees’ salary reviews respectively.
‘It is therefore in everyones interest to complete this brief survey to ensure that the figures collated are as accurate as reasonably possible. There is always the chance for two people to win £500 travel vouchers as an additional incentive.’
The results of the survey will be published in Property Week on 7 March.
