GM Investment Trustees has appointed Aberdeen Property Investors to manage part of its UK property pension investment assets.
The £130m mandate is the first that Aberdeen Property Investors has won since the re-establishment of its UK property operation in June.
Aberdeen Property Investors will now manage a portfolio of commercial properties for GM across the UK.
Aberdeen asset manager Roger Annis said: ‘At this point in the property cycle where performance will be derived from income rather than yield improvement, our active asset management skills are ideally suited to achieving out-performance from this type of portfolio.’
