Adidas Group, the world’s second-largest sporting goods company, has appointed Jones Lang LaSalle as real estate advisor globally.

JLL will provide transaction management advice, project management and consulting services for Adidas’ real estate portfolio.

John Duckworth, director of corporate solutions at JLL, said: ‘Adidas joins other companies on the DAX 30 to appoint a third party to advise on its global real estate portfolio. This reflects the growing trend amongst European corporates looking to find efficiencies in the management of their property portfolios through advice and services from international providers.’

Adidas’s portfolio includes distribution, office and retail space.

JLL has already worked on more than 50 projects worldwide encompassing transaction management, property development, capital markets and lease administration for the group.
