AEW acquires €33m Europastaete in Utrecht

European private equity fund Kildare Partners has sold its Europastaete office development in Utrecht to AEW for €33m (£29m).

Europastaete, which was built in 1985 and extensively refurbished in 2007, comprises two adjacent office buildings covering more than 172,000 sq ft and fully let to Rabobank. Utrecht is the Netherlands’ fourth largest city and is part of the Randstad – one of the largest metropolitan areas in Europe.
