The Crown Estate has announced chief executive Alison Nimmo CBE will step down from the role at the end of December 2019.
Nimmo, who took up the role of chief executive in January 2012, has confirmed she would not seek a third term and will step down after completing her second four-year term in the role.
She has not outlined specific plans for where she would move to after completing her second term but said she hoped to pursue her “passion for sustainable cities; leading great teams; and working with purpose driven businesses”.
