A joint venture between investor Ambassador Group and investment manager ICG-Longbow has secured 17,000 sq ft of deals in Glasgow, including a new Scottish headquarters for Shelter.
Ambassador LB Holdings has agreed a series of new deals and lease renewals across its Granite House and Forsyth Building mixed-use assets at an average weighted unexpired lease of 15 years.
In the largest of the new lettings, charity Shelter Scotland has taken 8,000 sq ft for a combined office and shop operation at Granite House. The six-storey 175,000 sq ft Granite House offers flexible office accommodation across the upper floors and was acquired by Ambassador for around £25m in 2015. Shelter Scotland joins other tenants in the building including Clydesdale Bank and Glasgow Housing Association.
