Global investment manager AMP Capital has acquired a minority stake in Luton airport in deal worth an estimated £1bn from French investor Ardian.
AMP, which already owns Leeds Bradford Airport and is a long-standing investor in Newcastle Airport, has acquired a 49% stake in the UK’s fifth largest airport joining majority owner Aena.
