Land Securities and Hammerson - the Bristol Alliance - have secured another eight retailers taking its Cabot Circus scheme to 85% let ahead of an autumn opening.

The 1m sq ft city centre retail and leisure destination has signed Apple, The White Company and Fred Perry, all of which will be opening stores in Quakers Friars, the scheme’s designer and luxury brands area anchored by Harvey Nichols.

Other new signings include urban street wear brand, Bench, designer fashion retailer Hardy Amies, high street retailers Jane Norman and JJB Sports.

Enormous progress

Keith Stone, Bristol Alliance leasing director, said: ‘We are making enormous progress across the development and these latest lettings continue to demonstrate huge retailer confidence in Cabot Circus. Quakers Friars is well on its way to being 100% let by the time of opening, with the main scheme, The Circus, not far behind.’

Joint letting agents for the scheme are DTZ and Lunson Mitchenall.
