Aviva Investors has poached Alistair Dryer from ING Real Estate for its global real estate multi-manager team.

Dryer, who worked as a senior fund manager at ING for ten years, has been appointed fund manager.

He will have responsibility for multi-manager mandates for institutional clients.

At ING he managed the fund manager’s first global fund of funds, Osiris, which was seeking to raise £1bn (£890m).

Aviva manages over £3bn of multi-manager mandates globally managed by its 17-person multi-manager real estate team based in London, New York and Singapore.
