Architect HOK has unveiled its masterplan for Water Garden City, a 23m sq ft development in Bahrain, aimed at housing 40,000 people.

Bahrain Water Garden City is planned to be developed on an 147 acre plot of land on Bahrain’s coast, close to the country’s airport.

It is to be developed by local developer Albilad Real Estate and will include residential space, hotels, a beach park and marina, schools, leisure space and commercial space.
