Based in the Helsinki office, Fredriksson will report to Barings’ head of real estate transactions Europe, Gunther Deutsch. In this role, he will be responsible for supporting the development and growth of Barings’ platform in Finland through the sourcing of transactions across the risk spectrum from core to value add.

Fredriksson brings more than 10 years’ experience in real estate and joins Barings from LocalTapiola Real Estate Asset Management where has worked across transactions and portfolio and investment management involving a range of asset classes. Prior to this, he spent two years at NCC Property Development, one of the largest real estate development companies in the Nordics.
